Known Bugs

While we strive to make CSMT fully functional, there are a few minor bugs that are still being fixed.

  • PDF view – Process box overlaps footer.
  • Using “/” symbol in Title field breaks PDF view. (Workaround – remove / characters)
  • Last changes occasionally lost if switching lessons while field is active. (Workaround – press “Done” before changing lessons).
  • Extra return spaces sometimes added between lines of long fields.
  • Random “+” sign next to lessons in list when scrolling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What devices can I use CS Music Teacher with?

A: CS Music Teacher will first be available this summer for all iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) running iOS 8 or higher. Android versions should be available by the end of 2015.

Once you have purchased the app, you also gain access to the web version on this website, allowing you to open your lessons from any internet-connected device.

Q: How much does it cost? Is there a subscription fee?

A: The CS Music Teacher app is just $9.99, which includes writing and saving unlimited lesson plans, accessing shared lessons from other users, and all future CSMT app features (see below). There is no subscription fee (we hate those).

Cedar River Music may offer lesson content for sale as in-app purchases in the future, but rest assured that this is entirely optional and not necessary to keep using the app.

Q: And those future features would be?

A: – Linking to online repertoire scores

– Daily Planner/class calendar

– Class gradebook?
